Probably The Weirdest
Rock and hard place I’ve ever been stuck between. Of course any person with common sense says I should take the opportunity, but the question gets to be: What is God’s plan for me, and is this the answer to my prayers?
So often we come to God with our issues, questions, and heart’s desires, but it’s almost dumbfounding whenever you get an answer, huh? Crazy how some can doubt the absolute Authority and Capabilities of the God we serve, but in this case, I must admit that I feel unprepared…. and yet….
This instance is like deja vu. Every single semester of college presented challenges that my mind could not even FATHOM a proper strategy against… but God. Yes, each time my curriculum threw me a curveball, God proved that HE ultimately had the last say. Fabrication, graphic design, ministry, speeches, researching, studying, and problem solving had no authority above my God. Though they would subdue me, in the moments of my weakness, God serves as my greatest strength, and HE would literally push me to the next level to succeed. The question, now, isWhat am I looking at before me?Is this you, God? IS this a test? I wish I knew. I pour out my thoughts on this Tumblr, but trust me, they are not new to me. This has been the topic of the hour since about 1pm today when I got the amazing, bittersweet news.
To cut this off from the outside world for a bit, I’ll leave it at this: Don’t EVER doubt God. Place your faith in HIM, and learn to listen for HIS voice. Unfortunately, I wish I were more familiar with it, however, I do know that I listen as best I can. When the time comes to make a decision, I’m confident that I will make the right one, but that is only because of WHOSE I am, not who I am. Nothing about me makes me great, except the ONE who made me great. And the same goes for you. The weirdest scenarios prove to be the greatest moments, when you understand why what the world tells you is often not what God’s telling you. No one knows you better than God, and when you learn to trust HIM, things that seem one way CAN still become another, if you need it to be.

Grad Gifts
I never know quite how to approach them! A million cards with cash in them, I try hard to actually [read] the card before I count any money lol. However, I am so grateful for this moment. And the best part is that college has been nothing but proof of what God can do in anyone’s life when they ask Him for help.
I remember so many late nights where I sat in confusion trying to finish a project. Nothing seems promised until you simply ask that God’s will be done. From there it’s just a matter of faith. My pastor mentioned that once you have prayed for something and received it, the next prayers should hardly require faith. Think about it: If God can do all things, and you have seen such when He answered your prayer, then the next time you ask of Him, it shouldn’t be a matter of if He can do it, but whether or not it is in His will to do it again.
Ultimately, God makes this life one that you can always find good in, if you look in the right places. Though we may differ, all that I learn in the Bible and through my relationship with Christ inspires me to try my best to love ppl unconditionally. And with all that college has taught me, I see it as confirmation for the very same. I appreciate my gifts, and hope one day soon I’ll be able to bless others the same way.

Great Words
“I marvel at how Christ saved me. Salvation is an amazing thing. I love when I hear music that brings out the wonder of the gospel. If a song makes me love Christ more, love the Bible more, hate sin more, etc., then I will listen to it gladly.” — Chris Lassiter
